I have started using this method when running transformer wiring, etc. I know that alot of vintage amps show examples of this for of wire lacing. Just thought I would share this article with everyone. I learned from this page and thought I would share it.

That looks pretty cool. I use those little 3" nylon tie wraps. They work well and are quick to apply.
