CHASSIS PARTS UPGRADE KIT
This kit includes: a replacement 1M potentiometer that has solder lugs instead of the stock PCB connect, 
4 high quality Switchcraft jacks with lock washers, (2) #6 ground lugs and ground lug hardware
and a piece of RG174 coax to run from your preamp grid to your pot.
Also included: a fine piece of sandpaper. Use this to sand the area under your ground lugs for a better connection to the chassis.

NEWS AND UPDATES
 
Heyboer OTs are on order. They are due in 11/20.
 
Version 3 is the latest version of the Vjr amps.
Our version 2 boards fit the version 3 amps. They have the same mounting hole pattern.
 
Heyboer OTs are in and ready to ship! 
They sound awesome! They really clean up that flabby, non-defined, low end that the Vjr can have. 
According to one of our customers: putting one of these in his Vjr was like pulling a wet blanket off the amp.  A NOTE ABOUT THE SPECS OF THE NEW REPLACEMENT OT:
The original Valve Junior OT has a 7.5k primary rating which is a bit high for a single ended EL84 amp. 
Technically 5k is the correct match for this circuit but over the years some of the best guitar amps have
been purposely miss-matched to achieve a desired effect.
In our case, with the Heyboer OT, we went for a happy medium of 6.6k. 
This rating gives the amp a more defined sound. Nice and "chimey".
WE TRIED OUT A FENDERISH BOARD WITH AN OCTAL SOCKET (6V6 Power Tube)
We wired up a Fenderish board with an octal socket (6V6 Tube) and
dropped it in to a Vjr head with a Heyboer OT.
